The best time to get involved is always now. Whatever your interests, Freedom Life will utilize your gifts and abilities for the purpose of drawing people closer to God.

See a list of service opportunities below, find something that interests you, and commit for one year. You’ll meet new people and feel good about helping others and being part of a team that is making a difference. The work isn’t always easy, but the rewards are eternal.

Every Sunday we feature a ministry area at our Volunteer Booth located in the main lobby. You will find someone who serves in that particular ministry staffing the booth. Please feel free to stop by to ask questions or to sign-up.

Small Groups

Helping people build meaningful relationships with God and other Christ followers
Need: Individuals willing to lead groups during our 40 Day small group experiences in the winter/spring & fall
Requirement: Find friends, find a host home & be committed to the vision of Freedom Life!

ARK Elementary

Providing interactive programs for children in elementary school; and creating an atmosphere for kids to develop faith in Christ and Christ-centered friendships on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings
Need: Loving individuals with a heart for children
Requirement: Background check, one-year commitment, attendance at leadership summits, willingness to meet with the team every fourth Sunday of the month

Caring for young children; and sharing Jesus’ love on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings
Need: Loving individuals with a heart for children who are willing to change diapers and make potty runs

Twentyfourseven Youth

Growing a community of world changers who follow Jesus Christ on Wednesday & Thursday evenings
Need: Loving individuals with a heart for youth; Transportation for students; Childcare on Thursday nights for youth leaders’ kids
Requirement: Background check, one-year commitment, attendance at leadership meetings on the 2nd & 4th Sundays

Worship Band

Creating an environment to help people enter the presence of God and experience His freedom and life
Need: Vocalists and Musicians
Requirement: At least 16 years old, serve at least one Sunday per month, one-year commitment, attend rehearsals on 2nd & 4th Tuesdays 6:30-8:30pm (note: Individuals are asked to attend three months of rehearsals before ministering on the platform.)

Multimedia & Sound

Helping worship services and special events run smoothly with the use of computer, lights, sound, and camera
Need: Individuals with technical skills to work with media equipment and computers

Bookstore

Providing resources for our church family on Sundays and Wednesdays
Need: Individuals willing to serve as a cashier, collect inventory, and man the desk

Greeting Team

Offering warm smiles and friendly greetings to individuals coming to church each week

Creating an atmosphere where individuals can connect with God and one another

Connecting people to helpful information

Providing safety and security for children
Need: Individuals willing to oversee child registration, answer parents’ questions, and direct people in dropping off and picking up their children

Life Cafe

Providing a friendly, inviting place for people to fellowship and build relationships

Cleaning / Maintenance

Keeping the church clean and welcoming so that the Freedom Life facility can be the best it can be

In the Community

We want to extend our reach to the members in our surrounding community. We currently host a food bank (see description below) and we’re compiling more opportunities for serving outside of the church. Around the World

There is a lot you can do through Freedom Life to make an impact for God’s Kingdom around the world.

PRAY

Refer to the Freedom Life missionary list and pray for the individuals and organizations we support. Pray for our mission trip teams as they prepare and travel. Pray for the missions team and its leadership.

Give

Your missions offerings allow you to take part in helping people to know and serve Christ around the world. Freedom Life is currently raising $75,000 this year to regularly support local, regional and global missionaries. In addition, your donations to special campaigns allow you to help us plant churches at home and abroad.

When you donate online, designate your gift to “missions” to help with monthly missionary support. Or, designate donations to the current campaign to help with larger missions and church planting projects.

Go

Join us on a life-changing missions trip! Trips are currently planned to Haiti, Boston & India.

Serve

We currently need people to help organize promotional missions events and missions trip fundraisers. We also need individuals to commit to praying and volunteering for local ministries supported by Freedom Life.
